In the Age of the Machine, many are feeling a gentle, but pressing, call to return to a humane way of educating their children. Amid a culture that has been spiritually starved by artificiality and sensationalism, there is a growing hunger to recover ancient memories, to live in touch with Reality, and to experience genuine communion with God, our fellow man, and nature.
But where do we begin?
This question stands at the heart of the second annual conference that was hosted by The Children’s Tradition in spring of 2026.
Together, we looked to the classical tradition, not merely as it existed in Greece or Rome, but as it was received, baptized, and brought to maturity in medieval Christendom when the Church drew upon the truth, goodness, and beauty the ancients had perceived and saw them more fully in the light of Christ, who is the center of Reality.
Watch recordings of our speakers Patrick Faus, Amanda Faus, Aaron Hartley, Kelsie Hartley, Benjamin Lyda, and Adam Taylor for lectures rich in ancient insights and practical guidance for cultivating a Christ-centered education that is ordered towards the kind of wonder that begets wisdom.
The Recordings
Patrick Faus ~ A Classical Conversion
Kelsey Hartley ~ How I "Failed" My Way into The Children's Tradition
Benjamin Lyda ~ Poetic Education for the Heart
Aaron Hartley ~ Lights on the Dashboard: Indicators of a Healthy Classroom Culture
